Our single-family neighborhoods are an integral aspect of the appeal of Seattle. I am concerned that you are making zoning changes that will forever alter the character of our beloved city. Of the many issues involved, the changes to reduction in lot size allowances and removal of the owner occupancy requirement cause me great concern. What you are doing with that is opening up our single family neighborhoods to rampant, unrestricted development with no community aspect remaining. What I foresee is the destruction of our neighborhoods – with the developers benefiting at the expense of the residents of this city who have helped to build, finance, and maintain it over the decades and who voted you into office. I personally can see the value of increased density with backyard cottages and

Accessory Dwelling Units. I request that you do it in such a way as to keep the owner-occupancy requirement as a means to preserving our neighborhoods.
Great use of EngagingPlans, those were the days

Technology free zones would bring me back to the park. As would ADA accessible chess areas.
I may be an outlier here but I believe the park's best days have yet to come. However, the rich tapestry of this parks heritage was lost long ago. (I'd say the tipping point was in the early 2000's as cell phones took over.) Now, absolutely nobody is talking to strangers.

To preserve this parks heritage we should be promoting more interactions between people and restoring an air of community and wonder as the park once provided. Perhaps to even call it a technology free zone, as everyone wears headphones and is unapproachable.
This is very important. We must conserve our landscape. If we don't care for the environment, we won't have one.
I love this plan. So glad trees will be preserved.
I've enjoyed this park for 75 years and want my great grandchildren to say the same.

If there was a dedicated space to lock up electric scooters then fewer people would have to walk or ride theirs around the park.
This looks great

It's spot on!

Excellent question!
I don't think we should use bullets in a document about a park that is named after a person/organization that is known for birds and protecting them.
What is your overall feedback on this document?
Why the blank page?
in reply to Kay's comment
We'll add a section to address that
Isn't this area is under review for wetlands ?
Mr. Smith has moved to Des Moines.

I am curious about the timeline presented in this plan. Will additional resources be added?
Definitely early morning on a weekday
Probably early morning
Yes, what time of the day was this take for it to be completely empty?
I wish there were some people in this picture, the park has so much to offer for residents
What is the timeline for completion on this project? Thank you
Great picture for the title page, where in the park was this picture taken?
